ShamsPeter Hayes has been excellent since the beginning until installation. He always kept me updated with regards to the process . Our installation went well and our panels are doing great . I will highly recommend him and Lumina Solar .Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lehigh County Pennsylvania by Shams
Matthew CawthorneI was really excited with the idea of getting a rooftop PV system, and Lumina had really good reviews. Their price was nearly identical to another very highly rated company in my area and I liked the look of the REC panels so we went with Lumina. During the initial sizing I proposed a symmetric configuration that was pleasing to the eye and was told 'we can discuss the exact configuration during the engineering phase'. Well, I was never contacted until all of the approvals were complete and at that point it was too late to get the configuration that I wanted. The Lumina configuration was unsymmetric and had 1 fewer panel on the highly productive south facing roof. It was not the end of the world, but I take pride in the aesthetics of my house. In the end I was able to get them to make it symmetric, but with the one less panel in the good orientation. The biggest problem, however is that the panels on the front of the house are in a nearly ideal orientation, facing almost south, and with a roof pitch that is good for this latitude. The 400+ watt panels are oriented well enough that they should be able to generate close to 400 watts during the middle of the day (cloud cover permitting). Lumina specified and installed 300 watt inverters so those panels never produce more than 300 watts. Instead of a sine wave for production I get a curve that is clipped flat on top. 300 watt inverters are ok for the back of the house where the sun angles are not as ideal and the panels cannot produce as much power, but not for the front. So why am I giving them 4 stars? Well, their Operations department that scheduled and performed the installation did a really good job and were a delight to work with. The workmanship is really good and everything has been functioning for the first 16 months of operation. There were no surprises in the pricing.Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lehigh County Pennsylvania by Matthew Cawthorne

mike baumanI have done my research on solar systems before contacting Lumina. Well i just could not believe the wonderful treatment and the professionalism of their company, especially Courtney Sollenberger . She reminded me of a person from years ago when neighbors would always help one and other and happily great and care about each other. I honestly can say i enjoyed the whole process with Courtney. I just cannot say enough about the company. Their Professionalism is 2nd to none ."Thank You So Much Lumina" and Courtney Sollenberger !!Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lehigh County Pennsylvania by mike bauman
Tyler BridwellI highly recommend Lumina Solar. They are a complete, one stop solar solution. Making the transition to solar can be a daunting endeavor and a huge investment. Lumina Solar and more specifically Christopher Richardson made my transition to solar a fantastic and rewarding experience. I have the highest confidence in my rooftop system and am extremely satisfied with my investment. Lumina is a top notch organization. I decided to transition to solar for several reasons. I liked the idea of making and using my own electricity. More independence from the power company was a huge motivator. But the numbers had to work. I wanted to make an investment that would pay for its self and continue to provide a return on my initial investment. I also wanted to be more environmentally responsible. Diving into the world of rooftop solar can be overwhelming. It is absolutely necessary to do your homework and get several quotes from competing companies. I received quotes from five different solar installation companies. I elected to go with Lumina Solar in the winter of 2022 and have been completely satisfied and extremely happy with my investment and choice of solar installers. Lumina was not the cheapest, nor were they the most expensive. But their product is so much more than panels and wire. They are a complete solar solution. From the very first meeting with Christopher I was impressed. Lumina does more than just the installation. They provide support every step of the way from the initial roof inspection to long after your system starts producing power. I was a skeptic from the very beginning when I started researching solar installers. I had other solar companies flat out lie to me. Some companies wanted the ‘quick sale’ and tried to lock me into a contract immediately. Others were using ‘fuzzy math’ when demonstrating the potential money advantages of rooftop solar. Lumina Solar was different. They were straight up honest and competent from the very beginning. Even when local red tape and logistical challenges pushed the project deadline back, they never wavered. They continued to be honest and forthcoming. Christopher was always available for questions, day or night. He was rock solid and with me every step of the way. Lumina solar offers many advantages that set them apart from other companies. Their warranty is of the highest quality on the market backed by a Solar Insure guarantee. This provides an added piece of mind. They also enroll their customers into a SREC management program that sells your energy credits for you. This takes all the headache and stress off of the customer. Like I stated above, Lumina Solar has thought of everything. Their comprehensive approach to rooftop soar goes way beyond installing panels on your roof. They cover every aspect involved in making the transition to solar. And more importantly, they back it up in the contract. I am very happy with Lumina Solar and Christopher Richardson!! Lumina Solar made my transition to solar a very positive and rewarding experience!Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lehigh County Pennsylvania by Tyler Bridwell
Krishna KoneruAbsolutely loved the company and their service was awesome. Peter Haynes helped me all the way through the process from day 1 and he is amazing. The whole process took less than 6 weeks.Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lehigh County Pennsylvania by Krishna Koneru
Viken PatelIf I could give more than 5 stars I would. I couldn't be more happier with Phillip Jordan and the entire Lumina Solar team. From the day I contacted Phillip, he was responsive, professional and thorough in explaining and answering all my questions regarding switching to Solar. He came up with the design that fit my needs. He guided me through each and every step of the process, answering all my questions during the install. Even after my install, Phillip is always a text message away. That is the level of dedication they have towards their customers which is the main reason I went with Lumina. I even recommended Phillip to few of my friends and family members and most of them already switched to Solar. Thank you so much to Phillip and the Lumina Team for helping me in transitioning to a more sustainable future.Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lehigh County Pennsylvania by Viken Patel
Anna ShpakWe want to give a huge shout out to a Lumina Solar company, who installed our solar panels, and Matt, who’s been with us through the whole process!! When we got this house, we knew immediately that we want to install solar panels – we do not have even an inch of shade! So, I started my research. And while a lot of companies for some reasons did not get me serious, and were not very interested in talking to me, and promised that they will come back with a design system and then never showed up…Matt came on our first call all prepared and ready to go: even the whole system was already designed!! He spent about 4 hours with us answering all our questions and explaining every little detail. Everything was so clear to us by the end of the call, that the very next day we signed up the contract. Yesterday we turned on our panels!!! After we signed the contract, Lumina Solar took care of everything for us: from tons of application to all the permissions and finally - installation. So all we had to do is keep bothering Matt with questions!!:) and be sure Matt was right there for us 24/7, which totally amazed us. So huge thank you to Lumina Solar and Matt!!!Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lehigh County Pennsylvania by Anna Shpak
