Customizing Industrial Solar Power Solutions in Berks County Pennsylvania

ShamsPeter Hayes has been excellent since the beginning until installation. He always kept me updated with regards to the process . Our installation went well and our panels are doing great . I will highly recommend him and Lumina Solar .Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by Shams
Matthew CawthorneI was really excited with the idea of getting a rooftop PV system, and Lumina had really good reviews. Their price was nearly identical to another very highly rated company in my area and I liked the look of the REC panels so we went with Lumina. During the initial sizing I proposed a symmetric configuration that was pleasing to the eye and was told 'we can discuss the exact configuration during the engineering phase'. Well, I was never contacted until all of the approvals were complete and at that point it was too late to get the configuration that I wanted. The Lumina configuration was unsymmetric and had 1 fewer panel on the highly productive south facing roof. It was not the end of the world, but I take pride in the aesthetics of my house. In the end I was able to get them to make it symmetric, but with the one less panel in the good orientation. The biggest problem, however is that the panels on the front of the house are in a nearly ideal orientation, facing almost south, and with a roof pitch that is good for this latitude. The 400+ watt panels are oriented well enough that they should be able to generate close to 400 watts during the middle of the day (cloud cover permitting). Lumina specified and installed 300 watt inverters so those panels never produce more than 300 watts. Instead of a sine wave for production I get a curve that is clipped flat on top. 300 watt inverters are ok for the back of the house where the sun angles are not as ideal and the panels cannot produce as much power, but not for the front. So why am I giving them 4 stars? Well, their Operations department that scheduled and performed the installation did a really good job and were a delight to work with. The workmanship is really good and everything has been functioning for the first 16 months of operation. There were no surprises in the pricing.Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by Matthew Cawthorne
verghese cherianLumina Solar did a great job with the installation of the solar panels at our place. Chris Richardson was exceptionally brilliant going thru the plan and explaining the process, installation and what to expect after installation. They got all the necessary permits, etc. Verghese Hummelstown, PAReview of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by verghese cherian
Harrison BurchExtremely professional! We worked with Christopher Richardson and he made the whole process so simple. The crew that showed up installed everything in only a few hours and then walked me through what they had completed and what the next steps were. If I would have known this was so easy, I would have done this a while ago!Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by Harrison Burch
mark riceRyan Cook and his Lumina Solar exceptional team installed a ground mount solar system for us. The project planning was excellent with a long underground cable from the array to the house. Our County threw up various roadblocks that Lumina personnel carefully worked through. The installation teams were wonderful and worked long days to make sure that the job was done. The electrical work, including a new 200 amp panel were done professionally and with high quality. We could not be happier with the equipment and the quality of the installation. marika zadvaWorking with Lumina Solar on my project was easy and stress-free. The team was very responsive throughout, answered my questions and explained everything step by step. The installation went smoothly and although we failed the first county inspection, Lumina came out quickly to rectify the issues and pass the inspection. The only thing I wish I had asked for is for Lumina to blow all the debris off the roof after the installation and do a careful clean-up around the house. My gutter guards were covered in asphalt pebbles and there were bits of wire, etc. from the installation. Having that cleaned up better would have make this a six-star rating, but otherwise, I have been very happy with the service and the price of the system I purchased.Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by marika zadva
Scott MalinowskiFrom my initial contact with Christopher Richardson, all the way to installation day, communication has been superb!! Christopher and Stephanie were phenomenal at keeping me up to date with all aspects of this project! I consulted with 3 companies, and Lumina, by far, gave me the BEST service, warranty and price! I KNOW that I made the right choice!Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by Scott Malinowski
